GCS Secondary Athletics Carnival

Guyra Central School held its secondary school Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 25^th May. The day was a great success and was filled with both track and field events including 100m, 200m, 400mm and 800m races as well as Javelin, Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and High Jump. During the day there were opportunities for students to participate in a number of novelty events such as the Whole House Relay (as a warm up), the House Chant comp and, the highlight of the day, the Junior and Senior, Boys and Girls House Relay races.
